ATLANTA (AP) — Nate McLouth is back with the Atlanta Braves after missing 33 games with a head injury, and was starting in center field for Wednesday night’s game against San Diego.

Meanwhile, third baseman Chipper Jones is returning after missing three starts with a mild left hamstring strain.

Gregor Blanco has been optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett.

McLouth has been out since suffering his injury June 9 at Arizona, when he collided with Jason Heyward in the outfield. McLouth is hitting only .176 with three home runs in 170 at-bats.
