Vancouver Police are asking the public’s help locating three men accused of attacking a 25-year-old woman near the intersection of East Ninth Street and Grand Boulevard last Thursday.

The woman told police she was walking to a convenience store at about 1:30 a.m. when the men pulled beside her in an older model Mercedez Benz and asked for cigarettes, according to a news bulletin. Two men then climbed from the vehicle and knocked the woman to the ground and attempted to remove her pants.

After a brief struggle, she was released and the men fled westbound on Ninth Street.

The driver was described as a heavy set 18-29-year-old Hispanic male with acne. The victim and witnesses described the silver or gold colored four-door vehicle as in good condition.

Anyone with information that could be helpful in identifying the suspects is asked to call the Vancouver Police Department’s Major Crimes Tip Line at 360-487-7399.
