PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A man who shot into a moving car and wounded a man was sentenced in Portland to nine years in prison.
A Multnomah County jury convicted 25-year-old Donte Lamar Davis in May of attempted murder and weapons charges. He was sentenced Wednesday for the Nov. 1 shooting.
The Oregonian reports the wounded man was dating Davis’ ex-girlfriend, and the two men had fought earlier the night of the shooting. A stray bullet hit Legacy Emanuel Medical Center.
