PRINEVILLE, Ore. (AP) — An Oregon man is facing various charges after four deer were killed illegally near Paulina.

Oregon State Police said that 20-year-old Bradley Brock of Prineville was arrested Tuesday and charged with four counts each of illegal taking of deer, unlawful waste of wildlife and theft.

In January, a Crook County rancher contacted troopers to report he had found two deer that had been shot.

Additional investigation turned up another two dead deer. All four were does, and at least two were pregnant.

Troopers said Oregon State Police crime lab analysis of evidence taken from the site led to the arrest.
