NEW YORK (AP) — The cameras are ready to roll on Rex Ryan and the Jets, and Ross Greenburg can hardly wait to see what’s caught on film.

The president of HBO Sports tells The Associated Press he’s convinced the Jets will be a huge hit on “Hard Knocks” this summer, and not just because he cheered for them as a kid.

Last year’s “Hard Knocks” featured the Cincinnati Bengals, and averaged 3.4 million viewers an episode. Greenburg believes the Jets will draw even more because of their charismatic coach and roster filled with promising young stars such as Mark Sanchez and Darrelle Revis and aging veterans such as LaDainian Tomlinson and Jason Taylor.

This season’s installment of the popular HBO series, produced in conjunction with NFL Films, premieres Aug. 11.
