TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — An explosive device has destroyed a portable toilet in Tacoma’s Blueberry Park.

Tacoma police spokesman Mark Fulghum says they received several calls just after 6 a.m. Wednesday about an explosion.

Officers who went to the park found the destroyed outhouse. No injuries were reported and police are investigating.

Fulghum says it is not clear if the incident was related to a homemade explosive found last week in a portable toilet at a Tacoma Public Utilities Transfer Station in Lakewood. That explosive did not go off.
