EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — Paine Field’s Airport Operations Director Bruce Goetz says no one was injured when a single-engine airplane made a rough landing Tuesday afternoon when part of the plane’s landing gear failed to deploy.

Goetz says a hydraulic fluid problem kept the airplane’s back wheels from coming down.

The Glasair 3 plane landed at Everett with only its nose gear lowered, scraping its belly on the runway and sustaining minor damage.

The airport official says the pilot was alone in the plane.
