TILLAMOOK, Ore. (AP) — Tillamook County deputies arrested a woman accused of fatally shooting her sister at a Nehalem home.

Sheriff Todd Anderson said a 9-1-1 call alerted deputies to Monday’s shooting and they discovered Glenda Wood’s body near a barn.

Wood’s sister, 54-year-old DeElda Childs, was arrested at the scene. The Garibaldi resident is being held at the Tillamook County Jail. Anderson says the sisters had been in conflict for some time.
