Block foam recycling event set for Saturday

Vancouver, WA — Clark County and the city of Vancouver will host a free block foam recycling event Saturday at the Fisher’s Landing Transit Center.
Southwest Washington residents can drop off block foam from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the transit center, 3510 S.E. 164th Ave.
Polystyrene and polypropylene block foam will be accepted. No plastic-wrapped yellow urethane foam, hot tub covers or packing peanuts will be accepted.
The program also allows businesses to bring in loads no larger than what will fit into a passenger or cargo van at no charge.
