Smoke causes brief evacuation of Portland highrise

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- A small fire caused the World Trade Center building in downtown Portland to be briefly evacuated Wednesday afternoon.
Smoke spread through the building and power was cut off to the upper portion of the high rise. No injuries have been reported.
The fire was called in at about 2:15 p.m. and was out within minutes. The fire's cause is not yet known.
