SHUMWAY — Station tours, historical information, bagpipes and kid activities are all on tap as the Vancouver Fire Department celebrates the west side station’s 125th birthday.

Festivities are set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The station is at 400 E. 37th St., on corner of Main and 37th streets.

Meet Fire Chief Don Bivins, buy a T-shirt or take a photo with an antique fire engine, tour the station and enjoy refreshments during the station open house.

Visit http://www.vanfire.org or call Capt. Scott Blanton, 360-487-7264, for information.
