TIGARD, Ore. (AP) — Police in Tigard, Ore., are investigating Thursday’s death of a 3-year-old girl. Police spokesman Jim Wolf says initial reports indicated the child was choking.
He says police who responded to 911 calls from a Tigard home found the child was receiving medical treatment. She was pronounced dead at a hospital. An autopsy is scheduled Friday.
The spokesman says there’s “no indication that this is anything other than a tragedy.”
