LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Andrew Clark went 3 for 4 with three RBIs to lead Louisville to an 11-2 win over Saint Louis on Friday night in an NCAA regional on Friday night.

It was the Cardinals’ first game without coach Dan McDonnell, who is serving a three-game suspension as a result of his interaction with an umpire during the Big East tournament.

Saint Louis (33-28) led 2-1 in the top of the fourth inning after back-to-back home runs by Danny Brock and Jon Myers off Cardinals starter Derek Self.

Louisville (49-12) responded with 10 unanswered runs — three in the fourth, two in the fifth, three in the seventh and two in the eighth.

Cardinals second baseman Ryan Wright went 2 for 5, including a two-run homer in the seventh that chased Saint Louis starter Bryant Cotton. Clark added a two-run homer of his own in the eighth.
