Lana Veenker Casting is seeking a 10-year-old Iraqi girl from the greater Portland-Vancouver area for an upcoming role in the TNT drama “Leverage.” Auditions will be held Thursday and Friday.

The Portland casting agency needs a girl who can speak a few lines of Arabic.

“Ideally, she should be able to do an Iraqi dialect,” said casting director Lana Veenker in a press release.

This episode will be shot June 17-25. The actor will work only one or two weekdays during those dates. A parent or guardian must be available to accompany the minor on set.

For more information about this role and how to audition, go to Veenker’s blog, The Casting Scoop, at http://www.castingscoop.blogspot.com.

“Leverage” stars Academy Award-winning actor Timothy Hutton and will have its third season premiere June 20 on TNT. It films primarily in Portland and has shot at the former Columbian building in downtown Vancouver, as well.
