SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Wash., has filed to seek a fourth term in Congress from the Spokane area.
McMorris Rodgers voted against the Wall Street bailout, the economic stimulus bill and the health care reform bill. She is an advocate for a balanced budget amendment.
She is also vice chair of the House Republican Conference, which makes her the fourth highest-ranking House Republican and the highest-ranking Republican woman.
Two Democrats have filed to challenge her.
