Bill Sizemore's wife considering plea deal

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Documents filed in Marion County Circuit Court indicate the wife of political activist Bill Sizemore is considering a plea deal that would include her cooperation with prosecutors.

Cindy and Bill Sizemore, who live apart, face three felony counts each of state tax evasion after the couple failed to file returns in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

In the documents, the Oregon Department of Justice says Bill Sizemore was angry with his wife for participating in discussions about a plea deal that would include her cooperation.

Prosecutors want a court order to keep Bill Sizemore from talking to his wife about the case.

Bill Sizemore told The Oregonian late Wednesday he's aware of his wife's plans to talk to the state about a possible plea deal, and he's not concerned about her potential testimony.
