Police say Aloha man strangled mother

ALOHA, Ore. (AP) -- Court documents filed in Washington County say a 78-year-old woman allegedly killed by her son was found face down in her kitchen with blood under her head.
A sheriff's office probable cause affidavit says Norma Gordon was apparently strangled by 54-year-old Michael Lee Reineke.
Reineke called 9-1-1 Wednesday to report he needed a coroner because someone was dead in the house. Detectives attempted to interview Reineke, but he declined to make a statement.
Reineke and his mother lived together.
