PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- The Oregonian reports that a well-known Portland business and construction trial lawyer was found fatally shot Friday at his winter home in the Dominican Republic.
Business partner Brent Summers says 68-year-old Art Tarlow was alone in the oceanfront home. Police are reportedly treating the case as a homicide.
Summers told the newspaper that investigators have not said whether they have any suspects.
Tarlow had telecommuted half of the year from the small town of Sosua since buying the home in 2002.
