Oklahoma president, AD meet with Pac-10 officials

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Pacific-10 Conference officials have met with top University of Oklahoma officials, a spokesman for the university's president says.

A spokesman for Oklahoma President David Boren said Boren and athletic director Joe Castiglione "had a very cordial and informative meeting" Saturday with Pac-10 commissioner Larry Scott and deputy commissioner Kevin Weiberg. Boren spokesman Jay Doyle would not elaborate.

Oklahoma regents will meet Wednesday "to weight possible conference options," Doyle says.

Weiberg is a former commissioner of the Big 12, which lost Colorado to the Pac-10 and Nebraska to the Big Ten last week.
