Share offers free meals for hungry kids

Share Inc., the primary provider of services to the hungry and homeless in Clark County, is hosting a summer meals program for children.

Children age 18 and younger are eligible for free meals that will be served at selected elementary school sites. Breakfast is served at 8:30 to 9 a.m., and lunch is served from noon to 1 p.m. Mondays through Fridays (except July 5).

The sites and dates are are:

• Endeavor Elementary, 2701 N.E. Four Seasons Lane: June 28 to Aug. 13.

• Silver Star Elementary, 10500 Northeast 86th Street: July 6 through July 30.

• King Elementary, 4801 Idaho Street: Aug. 2 to 13.

The Silver Star and King sites also will offer morning activities in between meals. The program is sponsored by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture.
