An independent panel appointed by Washington and Oregon governors to review the Columbia River Crossing will meet again this week.

The panel will provide an opportunity for the public to offer comments at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Multnomah Room at the Jantzen Beach Red Lion, 909 N. Hayden Island Drive.

That will follow a full-day meeting from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The eight-member panel will discuss the CRC finance plan and project management. The meeting will be open to the public.

On Friday, the panel will meet during a work session closed to the public.

The panel, headed by former Utah Department of Transportation director Tom Warne, is supposed to deliver its review by the end of July. It is currently planning to meet one more time, on July 7-8.
