ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — The Denver Broncos have signed offensive lineman J.D. Walton, a third-round pick out of Baylor.

The team also released defensive lineman Jaron Baston on Thursday and designated fullback Kyle Eckel as waived/injured.

Walton becomes the fourth player from the Broncos’ 2010 draft class to agree to a deal. Seventh-round picks Jammie Kirlew and Syd’Quan Thompson signed last month, while cornerback Perrish Cox, a fifth-round choice, also recently agreed to a deal.

The 6-foot-3, 305-pound Walton was a three-year starter for the Bears at center.
