ISSAQUAH, Wash. (AP) — A King County sheriff’s spokesman says a 23-year-old man pulled from Lake Sammamish on Thursday afternoon is dead.
Sgt. John Urquhart says the man was swimming at the lake east of Seattle with his wife and 5-year-old daughter. He was not immediately identified.
Sheriff’s divers responding to a call about a possible drowning pulled the man from the water at about 3:10 p.m. Urquhart says it’s believed the man was under water for nearly an hour.
