MOUNT ST. HELENS — Forest Road 25 through the Gifford Pinchot National Forest from Cougar to Randle will reopen for the season today.

However, the road connecting Forest Road 25 to Windy Ridge east of Mount St. Helens will remain closed at least until the Fourth of July weekend. Workers won’t reopen Forest Road 99 to Windy Ridge until the snow melts and debris has been cleared.
