ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — The Houston Astros plan to activate right-hander Bud Norris from the disabled list in time to start Monday’s game at Milwaukee.
Norris (2-5, 6.80 ERA) has been on the DL since he received a cortisone shot after being diagnosed with biceps tendinitis following his last start for the Astros on May 23.
In three rehabilitation starts for Triple-A Round Rock, Norris had a 3.06 ERA.
Norris is scheduled to go against Brewers left-hander Manny Parra (2-5, 3.83).
