VALENCIA, Spain (AP) — Red Bull driver Mark Webber has walked away from a spectacular crash at the European Grand Prix.

The Australian’s car clipped the back of Heikki Kovalainen’s Lotus before flying through the air and crashing into the street circuit’s tire barrier at high speed Sunday.

Webber appeared to be unhurt and walked from the car, whose front section came away from the chassis. Kovalainen was unhurt and also out of the 57-lap race.

The safety car was called out before the race resumed.
