EASTON, Pa. (AP) — Jim Mower scored 19 points as Lafayette beat Colgate 73-65 on Wednesday night in the Patriot League tournament quarterfinals.

The third-seeded Leopards (18-12) will host Holy Cross, a 67-64 winner over No. 2 seed Bucknell, in the semifinals Sunday.

Mower, who led the league in 3-point shooting percentage (47.1 percent) was 4-for-8 behind the arc against the sixth-seeded Raiders (10-19), who split two regular-season games with Lafayette.

Michael Gruner, Jeff Kari and Mower hit 3-pointers during an 18-6 run that gave Lafayette a 26-14 lead with 12:04 left in the first half.

After Colgate trimmed a 41-28 halftime deficit to 48-43 with 13:50 left, a layup by Mower and a 3-pointer by Ryan Willen increased the lead to 10 points. The Leopards were 5-for-11 on 3-pointers in each half.

Yaw Gyawu, Kyle Roemer and Mitch Rolls each scored 15 points for the Raiders.
