Legacy Health to partner with SWWMC on expansion

VANCOUVER — Legacy Health has entered a partnership with Southwest Washington Medical Center to help support the planned expansion of Southwest’s Holtzman Twins Special Care Nursery.
Construction is already under way at Southwest to add eight Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit beds to the nursery.
Six Legacy obstetricians who specialize in caring for women with high-risk pregnancies will practice at Southwest starting March 1. These maternal fetal medicine specialists will provide 24/7 inpatient and outpatient perinatal care and consultation for Southwest’s Family Birth Center. Their services will include maternal and fetal care, monitoring, ultrasound exams, genetic counseling, diabetes management and diagnostic testing.
