CRANS-MONTANA, Switzerland (AP) — A women’s super-combined race has been canceled because of high wind in the Swiss resort of Crans-Montana.
The first-leg downhill was repeatedly delayed Friday before organizers called it off.
The International Ski Federation said it would not reschedule the super-combined because there are no more reserve days available.
The downhill will go ahead Saturday, with a super-G on Sunday.
Lindsey Vonn has a chance to pad her 137-point lead over Maria Riesch in the overall World Cup standings.
