60-year-old man arrested in Gresham stabbing

GRESHAM, Ore. (AP) — Gresham police have arrested a 60-year-old Beaverton man after a man was stabbed multiple times.

Police in the Portland suburb went to a disturbance at a house Friday night and found the stabbing victim. Police Sgt. Richard Wilson says he underwent surgery at a hospital and is expected to survive. The victim’s name was not immediately released.

Police arrested James Drysdale for investigation of attempted murder and first-degree assault. They say a motive for the staffing is not yet known.
