Evergreen school tour will focus on Orchards

VANCOUVER — Evergreen Public Schools hosts its final patron tour of this school year on Thursday, focused on Orchards-area campuses.

Superintendent John Deeder will lead guests through Heritage High School, showing off its Energy Smart and biodiesel, Advancement via Individual Determination and performing arts programs.

Covington Middle School will present its studio classrooms, and Sunset Elementary School its Self-Managers program.

Open to all community members, the free tour starts and ends at the Clark County Skills Center, 12200 N.E. 28th St.

It begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m., with a lunch prepared by culinary arts students included.
