A Portland man remained in critical condition at Southwest Washington Medical Center on Sunday night with injuries from a Saturday motorcycle crash on state Highway 14 about 5 miles east of Washougal.

The Washington State Patrol said Charles M. Haberbush, 51, suffered multiple traumatic injuries about 9:17 a.m. when he lost control of his 2007 Suzuki motorcycle on a curve west of Cape Horn. The westbound motorcycle crossed the eastbound lanes, then went off the highway and crashed into a concrete barrier, the state patrol said.

Haberbush was taken by ambulance to Southwest with a broken leg and ribs, a small brain bleed, a ruptured spleen and punctured lung, according to a WSP bulletin.
