Folks who live in Vancouver’s Ogden neighborhood applauded sheriff’s detectives Thursday night after they raided a home and arrested an alleged methamphetamine dealer.
About 7 p.m. Thursday, members of the Clark County Sheriff’s Tactical Detective Unit arrived with a court warrant to search the home at 8400 N.E. Lewis Drive, north of Fourth Plain Road and the Royal Oaks Country Club.
Bryan M. Nored, who lives there, offered no resistance and was arrested on suspicion of possessing meth with intent to deliver, said sheriff’s Sgt. Duncan Hoss. In the home, detectives found meth in bags, he said.
“Some neighbors were outside and applauding, physically clapping for the detectives,” Hoss said.
Nored’s age wasn’t immediately available because detectives found two birthdates for him.
Late Thursday night, Nored was being held on $10,000 bail in the Clark County Jail. He is to make a first appearance in court Friday morning, a jail official said.
The home is owned by the Federal National Mortgage Association, according to county records.
