Groenvold, Serwa win World Cup skicross races

GRINDELWALD, Switzerland (AP) — Olympic bronze medalist Audun Groenvold of Norway and Kelsey Serwa of Canada have won World Cup freestyle skicross races.

Groenvold edged Olympic champion Michael Schmid, while Christopher Delbosco of Canada was third on Friday.

Schmid leads Delbosco by 178 points in the skicross standings with two events left. A win is worth 100 points.

Serwa beat Olympic champion Ashleigh McIvor and Danielle Poleschuk, completing a Canadian sweep of the podium.

Ophelie David of France has a 38-point lead over McIvor in the World Cup standings.
