Lamy Chappuis wins final Nordic combined event

OSLO (AP) — Overall World Cup winner Jason Lamy Chappuis of France has won the final Nordic Combined event of the season.

Lamy Chappuis finished the 10-kilometer race Sunday in 25 minutes, 58.3 seconds. Felix Gottwald of Austria was second, 14.5 seconds back, while Magnus Moan of Norway was third, 30.8 seconds behind.

The Frenchman was second after the ski jump, while Moan started 13th and Gottwald 18th, both over a minute behind Lamy Chappuis.

Lamy Chappuis clinched the overall title earlier this month, and finished with 1,155 points. Gottwald was second overall and Moan finished third, with 879 and 747 points respectively.
