Classroom space expanded for wind turbine training

VANCOUVER — Northwest Renewable Energy Institute in Vancouver has expanded its classroom space to accommodate growing enrollment in its wind turbine technician training course.

The institute added about 5,000 square feet, bringing its total classroom space to 14,526 square feet. New classes begin each month accommodating a maximum of 48 students.

Upcoming informational sessions will be held at the International Air and Hospitality Academy campus at 2901 E. Mill Plain Blvd. in Vancouver from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday.
