PORTLAND — Umpqua Bank is launching a new lending program for small businesses in Oregon, Washington and Northern California.
The program, known as MainStreet Small Business Lending, will make available funds for loans that fall outside Umpqua’s standard underwriting requirements. Small businesses that apply for standard loans in the $10,000 to $100,000 range, but are declined, will automatically go through a second review process to determine if they meet the requirements of the MainStreet program.
The bank, a subsidiary of Umpqua Holdings Corp., operates five branches in Clark County.
