MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — Former Ashland Daily Tidings editor Andrew Scot Bolsinger has pleaded not guilty to nearly two dozen theft and forgery charges.

The Mail Tribune reports that Bolsinger entered the pleas Friday in Jackson County Circuit Court in Medford. He currently is serving a 20-month prison term for sexual abuse.

Prosecutors allege he stole the identities of friends, forged loan documents, and took money from banks, lending companies and investors.

Bolsinger was fired in February 2008 from the Daily Tidings. In April 2009, he pleaded guilty to sexual abuse charges that alleged he took part in sex acts with a 16-year-old girl while teaching at a private school near Salem.
