BEND, Ore. (AP) — Two snowmobilers have been injured in a crash near Bend.
The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office says 68-year-old Susan Wolf of Lake Oswego was operating a two-person snowmobile Monday with her 17-year-old daughter riding behind her.
They failed to negotiate a curve, lost control of the snowmobile and struck a tree.
The sheriff’s office described the injuries as serious, but not life-threatening.
Both women were wearing helmets.
