SHERWOOD, Ore. (AP) — Sherwood police say they arrested two people after an alert newspaper carrier woke up homeowners to report that prowlers were breaking into parked vehicles. Sherwood and Tualatin police arrived minutes later, shortly before 4 a.m. Tuesday, and arrested a 20-year-old Newberg man and a Sherwood juvenile. A third suspect was not caught.

Police Capt. Jim Reed says there may be additional unreported thefts that have occurred in the same Sherwood neighborhoods in Washington County.
