GOODYEAR, Ariz. (AP) — Juan Francisco and Aaron Miles doubled early in Cincinnati’s seven-run eighth inning on Wednesday as the Reds headed to a 10-3 win over a split squad of San Francisco Giants.

Drew Stubbs capped it with his fourth home run of the spring off Brandon Medders.

Chris Dickerson singled and stole two bases. He scored the Reds’ first run of the game on the first of Joey Votto’s RBI groundouts.

Homer Bailey pitched five solid innings, allowing just one run.

The Giants’ Jonathan Sanchez had allowed nine earned runs in 11 innings over his first four starts this spring. The Reds scored three but only two were earned on four hits and two walks.

Cincinnati closer Francisco Cordero allowed a run for the first time in his seventh spring appearance.
