PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — One person has died and two others were injured in a late-night shooting in southeast Portland that police describe as gang-related.
Portland police say officers found three people wounded about 11:30 p.m. Friday.
One, 29-year-old Deangelo Oliver, died.
Police say they aren’t releasing the names of the two survivors to protect their safety.
Police also say they investigated a shooting downtown early Saturday that left a man wounded but don’t believe it was gang-related.
They have expressed concern about a spate of fights and gunfire recently between two gang factions.
