The Clark County Fair Association has announced the first round of musical acts hitting the amphitheater stage this summer.

Country singer Miranda Lambert, with special guest the Randy Rogers Band, will kick off the concert series on Aug. 6. Lambert is up for six Academy of Country Music Awards, including Album of the Year, Top Female Vocalist of the Year and Single Record of the Year for “White Liar,” which hit No. 1 on country music charts.

The pop group Boys Like Girls will take the stage Aug. 9. The group’s self-titled debut album has sold more than 700,000 copies to date and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album included the Top 40 radio hit “The Great Escape.” The four friends from Boston released their second album, “Love Drunk,” last fall.

Additional concerts will be announced as the contracts are finalized.

The concerts begin at 8 p.m. at the Amphitheater at Clark County, 17200 N.E. Delfel Road, Ridgefield. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at all Ticketmaster locations and Ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices are from $20 to $35, which includes admission to the Clark County Fair on the day of the show.
