KINGSTON, Jamaica (AP) — Usain Bolt won the 200 meters in the Jamaica International Invitational in 19.56 seconds, the fourth-fastest time ever.
Bolt’s time Saturday at National Stadium was 0.37 seconds off the world record of 19.19 that he set last year in the world championships in Berlin.
The Olympic star also ran a 19.30 in the Beijing Olympics, and has run 19.57 twice. Michael Johnson has the third-best time at 19.32.
“I am not trying to break any records this season, I just wanted to come out here and give Jamaica a good show,” said Bolt, who also holds the world record in the 100.
