The family of a 39-year-old man found dead inside his Orchards area home is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of his killer. It has been more than three years since Donald James Brown’s body was discovered on Feb. 4, 2007.
“It has been a long three years,” said Brown’s mother, Pat Kuiper.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office issued a news bulletin Tuesday announcing the reward they hope will stir up new leads in their investigation.
Brown’s parents, Kuiper of Las Vegas and Donald H. Brown of Gresham, Ore., have maintained contact with the sheriff’s office throughout the investigation.
“We have the same agenda; we want justice for my son,” Kuiper said.
Brown was found inside his home fatally stabbed in the head and neck. There was no sign of forced entry, and officers said he likely was killed by someone who knew him. He lived at 9704 N.E. 104th Court.
