Frost is possible again tonight in some areas of Clark County, though overnight lows shouldn’t fall below freezing in most areas.
The National Weather Service is forecasting more sunshine today, which should lead to more clearing tonight. Areas without cloud cover tend to get colder, so thus the frost possibility. Shortly after 2 p.m, the National Weather Service issued a special weather statement warning people in frost-prone areas to protect their tender plants.
Friday should be a fine day, but more cold, rainy and unsettled weather is forecast next week.
Here is a portion of the Weather Service’s Special Weather Statement:
LOCAL FROST POSSIBLE AGAIN TONIGHT IN MUCH OF SOUTHWEST
WASHINGTON AND NORTHWEST OREGON…
ANOTHER COOL NIGHT IS IN STORE FOR MUCH OF SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON
AND NORTHWEST OREGON TONIGHT AND EARLY ON FRIDAY. A COOL AIR MASS

AND IN MORE AREAS THAN THEY DID WEDNESDAY NIGHT. AS A RESULT…
MANY AREAS SHOULD SEE TEMPERATURES FALL INTO THE 30S TONIGHT.

TEMPERATURES TONIGHT IN SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON AND NORTHWEST OREGON.
