MIAMI (AP) — San Francisco Giants shortstop Edgar Renteria has again been sidelined by a groin injury.
Renteria missed four games because of the injury and rejoined the lineup Thursday against the Florida Marlins, but he left for a pinch-hitter in the third inning.
Renteria grounded out in his only plate appearance and labored running to first. Juan Uribe replaced Renteria at shortstop.
