The Battle Ground school board is expected to approve school improvement plans for the district’s primary schools and a request for waiver of a 180-day school year when it meets this afternoon.
Board members also will consider district participation in Washington state’s effort to win federal Race to the Top education reform funds.
The panel meets at 3:45 p.m. at Captain Strong Primary School, 1002 N.E. Sixth Ave., in Battle Ground.
