OKANOGAN, Wash. (AP) — Two Spokane drug dealers were sentenced to prison Tuesday in Okanogan for the stabbing death of a pregnant woman at Tonasket in what prosecutors call a plot by a jealous wife.

The Wenatchee World reports 30-year-old Tansy Mathis, convicted of aggravated murder, was sentenced to life in prison without parole. And, 34-year-old David E. Richards, convicted of second-degree murder and manslaughter, was sentenced to 22 years.

They were convicted April 22 after a three-week trial in Okanogan County Superior Court.

A murder trial is set in July for 35-year-old Lacey K. Hirst-Pavek of Tonasket. She is accused of planning the March 2009 attack on 25-year-old Michelle Kitterman because she was having an affair with her husband.
