Registration is open for the 19th annual Portland Race for the Cure.
The run will benefit the Oregon and Southwest Washington affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Last year, 41,000 participants raised more than $2.4 million. Seventy-five percent of the funds stayed local to fund breast cancer screening, breast cancer education and support services.
This year’s race will be Sept. 19 at Tom McCall Waterfront Park, on Southwest Naito Parkway and Southwest Taylor Street, Portland. Visit http://www.komenoregon.org for more information, to register, or to make a contribution.
